Good Morning Family,
I pray that your yesterday was better than the day before just as I lift up your today to be even greater! I am assured by this scripture that if we follow instructions then everything in life we seek to do will be ordered by God. The word tells us that listening to the instruction of the Father, we may gain wisdom. Let's look at a few practical things that we have all run across when holding on to instruction. Following the syllabus for a class has lead many of us to the desired outcome of a diploma and or degree. On the job, following the standard operating procedures ensured that the desired outcome was produce. Even as little children one of the first things we learned when completing assignments was to read and follow the instructions at the head of the page. Finally, something as simple as following the instructions at the crosswalk (see picture) can prolong our lives. If we all just practice guarding those principles today as we go about our activities we may gain insight to the myriad of situations that we face. Based on that insight we will in turn allow God to direct the very life we lead.
Almighty, direct our hearts and minds to see to follow instruction. Create in us a desire to lean not to our own understanding. Show us your will for our lives through our obedience. This is our prayer in Jesus name, amen.
