Amos7:14-15Then Amos answered Amaziah, “I am no prophet, nor a prophet’s son; but I am a herdsman, and a dresser of sycamore trees, and the Lord took me from following the flock, and the Lord said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel. ’ God uses the ordinary person to achieve His goals. Those people in the bible we often think of them as larger than life figures. Truth be told God has called us out from our simple lives just as he did Amos here in today's scripture lesson. You and I are primed for use. It does not matter your socioeconomic status, age, color, or gender. Let us answer the call of God and allow our ordinary lives to beloved out according to God's plan.
Today family I challenge you to hear God as He directs you assist others in their quest to learn more about His love for us. Father we thank you for this opportunity to hear you and to do your will. Lord use us for your plan. We thank you for all that you do and all that you are doing in our lives. In Jesus name Amen.
